QYRC Sewing Series for Self-Expression

This multi-part series will teach foundational garment sewing skills while creating a supportive space for self-expression. Participants would learn the basics of sewing to make clothes that fit their body and identity in an affirming environment that honors gender diversity, body autonomy, and personal style. Whether you want comfy, flashy, or totally unique pieces, this series will give you the skills to make clothes that fit your body and vibe. Come learn, create, and show up as your full self - one stitch at a time.

This first session will teach sewing machine basics with a beginner-friendly project and future sessions will include skills for tailoring clothing to your fit and style.
